In the quaint village of Ramapuram, nestled on the border of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, a time-honoured tradition unfolds in a grand way - the ear-piercing ceremony. This special occasion holds immense cultural significance for the villagers. Inspired by the beauty of this event, artist Puviyarasu Kannadasan decided to immortalise its essence through his captivating paintings, which will be exhibited at Artworld Sarala’s Art Centre next week. Joining him in this artistic show are artists K Yuvaraj and Kirubakaran N - each showcasing their unique perspectives of the changing landscapes and the lives of ordinary people.

        Conserving traditional riruals.

Ear-piercing on minors should be reassessed on modern standards, I think it should be a choice at 18+

The world does not revolve around the US. Your "we"is my “what?”
US politics are important, they bleed out and influence the world, but I refuse to start from there.

So whatever you have going around over there, I think it’s appropriate to discuss modernising traditional values on age.

The world does not, sure. Conservative discussions often do. And when they don’t, they involve the conservative politics of other countries which closely relate to American conservatism.
