    They shouldn’t go into every situation with guns drawn even if they have the right suspect. This is how they escalate situations right from the beginning.

      Yeah, it’s amazing how the soldiers sent to war zones to kill for the profits of the military industrial complex have many times more de-escalation training than the people who (officially but not according to the courts) serve and protect their own countrymen and even THAT they’re basically ignoring in practice!

      They see this as a feature not a bug. They escalate intentionally in hopes that they will get to kill somebody and get a month or so paid leave (suspension).

      The “M” Word?

      The word traces back to the days of “freak shows” in the 1800s when people referred to short-statured performers for public amusement. Freak shows became less popular in the early 1900s. Still, people continued to use the word in other demeaning entertainment shows, such as “m----- wrestling.”

      I don’t really care but the term seems to be generally disliked by people with dwarfism.
