    Oh, I’ve been using AdiIRC for ages now, just for chat though. Some quirks, but overall I chose this after using HexChat, can’t remember why now.

      Was DALnet the palce to be a decade ago? I thought it saw a large exodus 15 years ago…

        Maybe more then a decade, I honestly can’t remember the last time I used it but dal.net was the big one back when I was using it.

    Freeware, not open source.

    Have you tried HexChat or Quassel IRC?

    What do you find better in AdiIRC?

      Hexchat requires a plugin to enable SSL and Quassel requires you to install certificates. AdiRC just works right out of the box. Hexchat and Quassle did get some discussion in the last big thread.

      I’d curious to see your setup for pirating on Hexchat thou. Nothing wrong with more options.
