    I dislike the “So in other words you mean that <add_something_negative>” technique used in a conversation. Especially if it’s not in a form of a question but rather a statement.

    “What do you mean by that?”
    “Do you mean that <add_something_negative>?”
    A nicer way to put it, in my opinion 🤗 Takes more of the blaming out of the reply, keeping it a bit more neutral ❤

    Don’t get me wrong - sometimes it is needed to assess negative things people do.
    But it can be done in a more polite way.
    No need to be more harsh than what a situation/conversation really needs.

    On the other hand, if you still feel the same way after 8 years in a job, is it still imposter syndrome or just verification of incompetence?
