EON is basically charging us £170+/year in standing charge per meter, despite the fact they’re both the same tariff (so no actual time-based savings).

We have a timing switcher (pictured) that I’ve seen on some “Economy 7” setups, however those switchers usually plug into a single meter that lists a “normal” and “low” rate, whereas we only have 2 “single rate watt-hour” meters. On top of that, the 2nd meter only really appears to tick up when we’re using the underfloor heating, regardless of the timing switcher.

Landlord seems convinced we’re using an economy 7 setup but I want a 2nd opinion before I battle this over the phone with EON customer service.
