      Because it’s excessive and dramatic. He didn’t die, he will come back and play.

      Other footballers get season ending injuries all the time and no other team actually prints it on their shirt.

        ? It is fairly common, at least in Spain, to come out with shirts showing support to long-term injured players before a game. So clearly other teams do it and you are clueless.
