It’s already been canceled. You can’t use GFM to pay off civil or criminal fines.

It’s still up on the site, I’m not going to link it because that seems like a bad idea. There were donations as of a few minutes ago.

So, someone please take this idea and do it. Make one of these campaigns, but be very careful to make it neutral language. E.g., pay legal fees related to the case of state of NY against trump enterprises LLC or etc. And for the reason that it was an unfair that all these funds had to be expended on this outrageous lawsuit.
    All sounds legit, right?
Except the sponsor writes a check to state of NY general fund.

Honestly I have nothing but respect for people who manage to fleece Trump supporters with shit like this. Didn’t somebody rake and millions of dollars that was supposed to go to the wall?

It’s probably the most important thing we can strive for, is to make it cost, ideally severely, to support Trump.

I hope nothing more than that this grifter asks his supporters to open their pocket books to pay his debts.

It costs money to go to Washington to overthrow the government. It costs time away from work and gas to be a part of a bunch of tool bags in a caravan to stop an imagined threat at the boarder. The more we can cost these people the less effective they can be.

I’d guess that the rules of user engagement follow for Trump’s base as they do for almost all other social systems. So maybe only 1/1000th of his the people that voted for him are 'true believer’s. If we can get those individuals financially destitute, we might be able to stop the movement.

If you look up Grant Cardone, Aventura FL - you’ll see that he’s already got a “business consultancy” where the reviews are all about how shitty and scammy he is.

The one who started the GoFundMe page was his wife.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

The wife of an investor has launched a GoFundMe to help fund former President Trump’s mounting legal expenses in the wake of Friday’s verdict in the New York fraud case.

The GoFundMe has a goal of $355 million — the amount that Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump to pay nearly in penalties in a civil fraud case.

With interest, Trump and his business could pay more than $450 million, according to the New York attorney general’s office.

“I stand unwaveringly with President Donald Trump in the face of what I see as unprecedented and unfair treatment by certain judicial elements in New York,” Elena Cardone wrote on the GoFundMe page.

Trump was previously ordered to pay Carroll $5 million last year.

Trump’s attorneys slammed the Friday verdict, calling it a “politically fueled witch hunt,” and said the former president will appeal the ruling.

Trump in not a billionaire, never was. No one that rich needs everyone to pay his bills.
He is just a welfare brat scamming people. Everything he owns is mortgaged to the hilt.
MAGA exists to financially support #TraitorTrump.

Alternatively, he might be a billionaire now with the insanely inflated land bubble valuations.

And cheating people out of their money is absolutely on brand for billionaires.

Yeah, I was going to say… people that rich never pay their bills.

If you owe the bank $100 that’s your problem. If you owe the bank $100 million, that’s the bank’s problem.

SuperPAC money is unregulated enough to pay court-ordered fines. Drain all the accounts.

Then drain the RNC to pay the 8-figure legal fees.

Just realized how to destroy GoFundMe - have the platform allow negative donations.

You want them to be $100 further from their goal? Fucking sure pass the cash.

To clarify… would you, a user, donate 100 dollars to the platform to push the campaign further from the goal? Or would you as the user graciously offer to be paid 100$ to move Trump further from their goal?
