Weird article, it says the murder rate in Cuba is 4.6 per capita, while it’s 4.7 per capita in America? Doesn’t seem like 19 times different. Seems like the article is just generally fearmongering about crime.
Honestly I am suprised its only 19 times more
Writing a police report because the 10 seasons of Friends burnt onto dvds i bought for 2 usd from a street market is missing season 3 and has season 2 copied twice.
as you should, they ripped you off, assuming we are talking about the people’s police and not the borgious police
Lmao, in Cuba’s case i don’t think i’ve ever been ripped off. Probably the worst was children giving “gifts” that they expected pay for, but i just handed them a 5 dollar bill and let them deal with the next mark.
I need an account to read the full article, but the content that I can assess indicated that the statistics is from the UN.
oh here’s an archived version https://archive.ph/NuW5o
Cuba was the safest I have ever felt in any country. Followed by Vietnam and then China.
The most threatened I have ever felt is the UK (my home), Germany, India, Thailand, France. I’ve never been to that other shit hole the US, but I’m guessing it would be up there.
Anyway, there is some sort of pattern emerging from those data points, but I’ll be damned if I can identify it.
What did you find dangerous about Thailand? Parts of Bangkok are pretty scummy but apart from that it felt as safe to me as anywhere else in East or South-East Asia
I was there about 20 years ago and I was a teen. I just remember constantly being harassed.
It was pretty wild
Where in India did you go? I would never recommend India as a destination to a Western tourist.
New dheli and Jaipur. Went for a friend’s wedding. I did enjoy it but it was wild.
well the pattern is Countries that start with a curve or angle that does not self intersect are safer.
The communists are literally genociding the concept of violence.
That’s only because Cuban censors, like with the life expectancy (read: 20 years), are hiding the real violent crime rate, which is at least 537% higher than America’s.
Source: literally all survivors of communism agree with me.
That is because the gommunist government made it illegal to do crime 😎 no freedom in the evil commie states!
