So so. Life is more stable but it seems to have come at the cost of a less active social life. Back when I was in turmoil I somehow was seeing people more often and out and about more. Now I’m busier and have a stable home I find that’s beginning to dwindle. Can’t have it all it seems.

I’m dong alright. I’m awake at around 4:30 AM today. Trying to read up on some articles before I take my ADHD meds and really start the day.
I’m vibing. I started research for my thesis a bit ago so it feels nice to have a big project to work towards, in something I’m interested in.

Got a major update on a project due at the end of the month, unfinished and untested at the moment, with probably not enough time to get everything done. This happens every month and I hate it. I’m not having mini-breakdowns about it anymore though, so I guess I’m doing better?

Anyone seen Sand Land, the new series by Akira Toriyama? It’s a desertpunk and has great politics, if that matters. Way better than Dragon Ball

I’ve only read the manga and it was fairly unremarkable; stretching a single volume over 7+ episodes would be very dull so I assume they’re expanding on the original
I also didn’t like it then and had dropped it before the plot started. Idk if they sexed it up or not, but it had me nodding my head the entire time, and the next season (last thing written by Toriyama before his death), is just about a revolution.

There’s this somewhat popular left wing reporter in The Netherlands who posted an instagram pic of a sticker that said Fuck NATO and it brought out the socdems in the comments. I started beefing with some of them and their responses boiled down to CONSPIRACY NUT/RUSSIAN PROPAGANDA/ITS JUST NOT TRUE REEEE and that was it. Everything I don’t like is fake.
I called America a “white supremacist state” and I was banned recently from a leftist forum.

Sounds like a great plan! Is there any process you can legally follow for this? Will the financial receiver not just ignore you and just asset strip the place?
I don’t know really, it’s the first time I see something like this. I know the Belgian government did something similar during the banking crisis years ago, so I guess it’s possible?
As for the asset strip: the company will go bankrupt if they don’t find someone to take over. So far no realistic offer has been made. The government is perfectly able to do just that. It’s a lost cause I think with neoliberals in charge, but it’s goot to get the message of nationalization out there for the people to consider.
