Cory Clark is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, a social psychologist and an author.

It’s a long video and they discuss a range of commonly held misconceptions. I must admit I haven’t seen all of it yet, but they go into the often unacknowledged bias people have towards women. People do not want to hear when men are better at something than women, but celebrate things women are better at than men.

The idea that society is sexist against women probably stems from the fact that we care so much more about women than we do about men.

So far pretty decent. It’s refreshing (really refreshing) to hear socially taboo questions spoken clearly and discussed. I don’t know either of these speakers or what their wider biases might be, and I’m a suspicious of some of the topics (like "evolutionary psychology, for instance), but this seems pretty balanced as of 40 minutes in. Good post.
