Obama hasn’t endorsed Harris yet. Yes he did in 2020 as VP, but not in 2024 as presidential candidate. I’m absolutely confident he will eventually, but he technically hasn’t at this point.

Weirdly Wilbur Cornthrope said he was voting for Harris even though he really wanted to vote for dumpledore, but recognized that dumpledore wasn’t eligible to run for president in the US.

Rule of thumb: You can be idealist in the primaries, but you have to be pragmatic in the general. Tell the world what you want during the off season, but the general election determines who we are stuck with for 4 years, and if you refuse to participate you are part owner of the mess you leave behind. If you didn’t vote against Trump in 2016, you helped him win and need to take ownership of that. Same for 2024.

Sadly, this may actually be her biggest hurdle. I know most here have zero issue with her being a woman, but will the average American voter accept a woman as president? I feel it’s what stopped Hilary from beating Trump in 2016, let’s hope that’s no longer the case today.
