Absolutely right, brother! Just another example of the duopoly too. Democrats and Republicans alike, working hand-in-hand to crush any real democratic choice for the people. They pretend to offer freedom, but they’re terrified of losing their grip on power. The only democracy they care about is the one that keeps their capitalist system intact and workers oppressed.

Can you imagine a democrat candidate being left out of an election on a form technicality?

No, because they seem to be competent enough to run their campaigns, and have decent legal representation.

The fact that you even ask this question, realizing that this has not been an issue for Democrats or Republicans in the past really illustrates the pointed nature of your question though 🤦

Of course it hasnt, theyre the ones in power. Theyre the ones making and deciding on forms and regulations and choosing which challenges to eligibility go to courts they control

So…let me get this straight here: nobody else is having these issues, and The Democrats , Republicans, and Independents all did their homework and submitted the right material, but the Green Party fucked it all up and it’s still everyone else’s fault?

You’re definitely the kind of person the Green Party wants to recruit! Go and sign up.

Its hard to have issues that you’re the one causing for others. Just about all third parties are having the same issue. Green party, socialist party, constitution party.

And yet…nobody else is. So you automatically assume it’s rigged against the “underdog”, and that they’re not completely incompetent and refuse to hire professionals who do this shit for a living, a long with proper legal representation.

                🤡

They submitted the correct paperwork with the correct number of signatures. The elections clerk lied to them and told them it was a different form, so they resubmitted the wrong form and then escalated it to the Supreme Court.

Maybe having legal representation on your campaign that does all the legal work like this is incredibly important instead of relying on an unaffiliated clerk? I expect any candidate I would vote for to be able to navigate electoral process effectively by having a competent team. This is the inverview process, and they’re failing at it.

And no, the parties didn’t set these rules up. These rules were set up by each state, and each state varies on the rules and requirements.
