The shorts on Tesla (most percentage short sellers on a stock I think?) were always pushed back by pro scientist and edutainment groups on places like reddit and here. Then Elon made some tweets about being a conservative and almost overnight the overlords shifted the narrative against him and now he’s progressives + shorts vs SpaceX fans etc.
He’s also kind of filled the void in people’s love to hate where trump used to live, so there is also that.
Remember when he said he is a conservative and will be persecuted for his views.
And then less than 24 hours the story of him trying to buy a flight attendants silence on his sexual harassment with a horse came out.
The hush horse story.
I’m not sure what you’re trying to say, he got negative press before and after. Especially related to Tesla. Him coming out as conservative just added the opposing political machine to the “anti-musk” side.

Conservatives and rightoids, always think people are against them because they are conservative and rightoids, but it’s just because they are pieces of shit, it’s not the people’s fault those two traits almost always come in pairs.
