Just remember kids… if you’re not part of the illustrious Big Six™ that Sky Sports invented after we won the league, then the Premier League literally does not care about you.

Demands punishment while the likes of Man City and Chelsea have literally bought all of their success.

I get why fans of smaller clubs would try to push this narrative, but we don’t actually know what is going to happen with City. There seems to be an acceptance they’ll get off with it for some reason, but if found guilty their punishment would be multitude times more severe than a 12 point penalty.

And Chelsea haven’t actually done anything illegal yet have they? Their potential breaches are in the future.

The point is that the rules have come in now that the supposed elite are established. Meaning they’re protected from any would-be challenge.

Chelsea was technically not a state club even if Roman got rich off Putin but that kind of ownership wasn’t healthy either. It’s one thing to level the playing field but what Chelsea did was first level the playing field and then build a giant skyscraper on top of it

Would probably still stay up considering how bad the bottom 3 are but what a kick in the teeth for Everton when you compare it to the situation with City. Absolute joke.

They’ve already got away with massively over exaggerating Covid losses, and selling the naming rights to their (at the time) non existent stadium for a huge sum. This charge might be a technicality but they’ve been absolutely skating close to the edge of what is morally or legally allowed for years now.

it’s an independent panel that is going to decide and this is what the Premier League is going to recommend to them for anyone who hasn’t read the article

It doesn’t say it anywhere explicitly, but from my understanding it would apply in this season

Is it to early for Ken to be turning in his grave?

Everton will still survive relegation on the last day.

Oh shit I did not think that this would actually happen. Means that they’d be on -5 after 9 games having played almost half the games you’d put them as favourites in over the course of a season (Luton, Wolves, Fulham and Bournemouth at home, Sheffiled United away).

Makes you wonder what kind of punishment Man City will face in 5 years once that investigation has wrapped up (let’s be real it’ll be like a relatively small fine and a transfer ban).
