Even if Sancho has nothing to back up his attitude, Antony is clearly the teacher’s pet at United. Even Garnacho offers more in most games and if everyone can see it back home, I am sure some players at the club can as well.

Does Antony’s left foot even come in to the game? I’ve seen ETH sub on Garnacho to play on the right or move Rashford there.

Antony has performed better than Sancho. Antony lacks end product but so has Sancho who has done a worse job at scoring and creating than Antony. And Antony at least works hard off the ball and presses diligently unlike Sancho who doesn’t even put in the bare minimum work rate.

Garnacho plays much better off the left than off the right so he’s in direct competition with Rashford rather than Antony. Also Garnacho still performs much better as an impact sub and doesn’t have the same impact on games when starting.

Regardless of what I think of Ten Hag as a coach, he’s already shown he doesn’t mind letting you back into his team if you work hard

We saw it with AWB, United fans were even calling him amazing at one point

We’re seeing it with Maguire, yes it’s because of an injury crisis but he’s kept his head down and honestly has been playing quite well recently

Even Mctominay somehow seems to be getting played

    It’s all on Sancho imo

United were struggling to score and McTominay is a goal machine for the national team. Right now for United his positives outweigh his negatives.

McTominay is generally good player, but is often misused, and can’t find a place in team playing tenhagball. But I’ve never seen him bitch about not being picked. He’s always keeping his head down and do what he’s paid for. Sancho is behaving like a diva, but you can’t be a diva when you don’t even play in starting 11. You are rotation player, accept it or begone.

Disagreeing with your manager about what best to do on the pitch and how much effort you’re putting in only really works if you’re consistently playing well. Sancho has never looked anything above average in a united shirt, under 3 managers. If you want to go against what the manager wants you have to be a proven top player with good will in the bank. Sancho doesn’t.

Life really has come fast for him.

When he was signed he was seen as one of the jewels in the English crown. Excellent performances in Germany, German pundits baffled that Southgate wasn’t starting him ahead of the likes of Foden and Saka, massive salary, £73m price tag and a boat load of promise.

Fast-forward now and he’s basically just a rotted husk of what he was. Never performs when he plays (or rarely), has a piss poor attitude, just fallen out with his manager, dropped from the England squad because he never properly trains, suspended from actual first-team football because of the falling out with his manager and now just fucking around on EA Sports FC at 01:00 in the morning.

    What a fall from grace.

I wonder if he hit that point that so many young men hit where they go from being able to eat whatever they want, drink, barely sleep, and still run around with endless energy to suddenly feeling tired and putting on the weight. Happened to most of us in our 20s where all of a sudden our physical fitness depends on our lifestyle choices.

There are also some United staff members who believe Sancho could have been handled differently. He responds to warmer management and they feel private cajoling and encouragement may have kept him onside, although they accept they are not the ones in Ten Hag’s position.

I might eat my words but I think we’ll look back on this and the consensus will be that ETH failed to man-manage Sancho by being too strict. Not everyone can conform to the same requirements, I believe that’s where top-tier managers really earn their money. Sancho is unquestionably talented and I don’t think ETH is the kind of manager that can properly unlock that potential. Might be the case with all or most of his managers.

I defended Sancho pretty hard and while I don’t find ETH endearing at all, it’s hard not to admit at this point that he’s right.

Sancho you fucking moron, what could of been…
