      Mental health issues should be treated as seriously as physical issues and injuries. If you’re not fit to play, you shouldn’t play. Happy to see Burnley take a positive stance on this.

    It must be hard as well to work out how long is needed. With a physical injury, there are tests and more tests, doctors can stick probes in you and take measurements. Yep, we certify your ankle is good now, get back on the pitch. For a mental health injury, it’s much harder… it’s going to have to be much more player-driven.

    Just treating it as any other absense it’s an absolutely massive blow for Burnley to lose a player with 5 goals contributions when they’ve only scored 8 goals this season
