    Absolutely fair, I’m pretty sure this is going to hurt youtube as a platform in the long run

      Not really IMO. If it gets to that, most people will pay. Sure, there will be workarounds, like ReVanced and the likes, but it will be unknown or too complicated to do for most users.

        Perhaps, it’s funny tho that YouTube is mostly just informing the world that adblock exists

          I think most people know that adblockers exist, they just don’t know how to implement them on their devices.

              Yeah, I’m with ya on that… unfortunatelly, from what I’ve witnessed living for 38 years on this earth, most people are not.
