Can someone translate the very last card for me? I understood the woman and children part but not the part underneath
“human shield”. is when you hide among civilians to complicate military attacks without causing civilian casualties.
I just needed the literal translation. My French is shit. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the French word for shield before
Aside from the “human shield” somebody else said, it also serves as a reference to a headline I read not long ago where, in the same headline, they were referring to Israeli children as children while for Palestine they were just “people under 18”.
