I can’t believe people are bitching about Onana. We just witnessed a perfectly executed fake wall and a perfectly placed shot. They restricted Onana’s angles on the ball so well it didn’t have to be a ridiculously fast shot. Brilliant freekick Onana has no chance there

If Manchester United fucks this one up. Maybe it’s better to take a one year break from international soccer. If there’s one team that can take a two-go lead and blow it up it’s definitely united.

“If, when a free kick is taken, an attacking team player is less than 1 m (1 yd) from a ‘wall’ formed by three or more defending team players, an indirect free kick is awarded.”

    Doesn’t that apply here?

Is it an UEFA rule? I can only find it in places referencing the FA rules only. There will be small differences in rules between competitions.

The United wall cheated forward meaning they were closer to the ball than what they should’ve been.
