    “If, when a free kick is taken, an attacking team player is less than 1 m (1 yd) from a ‘wall’ formed by three or more defending team players, an indirect free kick is awarded.”

    Doesn’t that apply here?

      Is it an UEFA rule? I can only find it in places referencing the FA rules only. There will be small differences in rules between competitions.

      The United wall cheated forward meaning they were closer to the ball than what they should’ve been.
