Are you good at concentrating your attention? Of course you are. That’s something that people with ADHD, Aspergers etc can do better than anybody else.

Concentration is a magic power. Attention is the axis of reality. Yes.

That’s a power that you have naturally. You can do it better than everybody else. And with practice you can get even better. There is no limit.

There were groups of people who dedicated their whole life to seeing how deep they could go with concentration. (and there are other things that you can do with your attention too. Things that are even better than concentration.)

For lack of a better term let’s call these people “wizards”.

Their preferred recruits were people with ADHD, Aspergers etc.

Because people with ADHD, Aspergers etc are very good at concentrating their attention.

Bro, this shit is straight up insulting. Just shut the fuck up about things you very clearly don’t understand.

What about it? It’s not something we’re in control of. It just kinda happens. It can be extremely disruptive to our lives, hence the qualification of it being diagnostic criteria for a disorder. For someone who experiences it as something destructive in their life, it’s pretty fucking insulting to hear some jackass mythicize it as some “superpower”. Especially after demonstrating a lack of knowledge on a subject they seem to feel entitled to have an opinion about anyway.

Are you trolling, or are you just legitimately that oblivious to the experiences of others?

Looking through your post history, you’re either the worst kind of troll, by which I mean you’re an extremely awful person, or you’re way the fuck off base for one or multiple reasons. I personally think you’re some young kid that believes they figured out some new age bullshit or something.

But also, you show lots of signs of psychotic episodes. Magical thinking, special knowledge, disordered thoughts/speech, etc. You doing okay?

This trope that ADHD is somehow a fucking gift needs to die. It’s not. I don’t need it to be who I am and it sure as fucking fuck didn’t help me get ahead in life. It wasn’t the price of being smart, everyone else is my family is smart without having to worry about things I do. Just… No. You’re wrong about this.

How about both? A good side and also a bad side. As things in reality generally are.

I’ve thought of it like that before.

But it’s like when I think about politics and human progression or regression in society. There’re a lot of ideological ways to ‘fix’ the world in theory, but if one were to make those ideas plausible reality would have to be completely different. Ime it’s hopeless to have that mindset, it’s a set up for failure and negative social dissonance. But even though I know that… I still find myself doing it.

I can think of great things but at the end of the day it doesn’t change the world or help me.

Wishful thinking is sometimes better in small doses?

Sorry I’m probably way off track. 🫠
