Unfortunately that’s so outdated my phone won’t even let me install it from the play store.

It’s not outdated, it’s functioning and working perfectly fine.

Someone else commented that it just needs to be recompiled from 32-bit to 64-bit (same with all other apps), as the latest version of Android, which approximately 30% of phones are using currently, only accept 64-bit apps. I’ve emailed the author about it.

What version of Android are you using? Works fine on my phone.

Edit: to the person who’s going through and downloading every one of my comments on this subject, I don’t believe those are fair or smart down votes.

Just because it doesn’t work on your phone, because you’re using the latest verses of Android, doesn’t mean it doesn’t work on all other phones with any other version of Android.

This app is not something we should discourage people from getting; knowledge is power.

Samsung S22 Ultra, pretty sure it’s not allowed on the latest Android by the Google Play Store because it was compiled as 32 bit and not 64 bit. You can probably side load it just fine.

That would make sense. My Motorola phone is one Android version behind the latest.

Yeah from what I understand the latest version of Android isn’t supported yet. I emailed the author about it, haven’t heard a reply back yet.

I wouldn’t hold your breath, it was last updated 5 years ago

2020 for the latest changes on the GitHub page.

I’m hoping that because of the forcing of the 64-bit requirement is fairly new, that we can expect another update in the near future.

It’s not like the app needs changes often otherwise, it’s a static app.

Worst case, I might just fork it and do it myself, if the dev abandons it.
