If you bought the subscription on desktop, Apple/Google didn’t get their 30% cut. Those platforms don’t like it when app do that, so when humans review apps, external account features are pushed out of the app ecosystem. Large companies (Netflix, Disney) get a free pass for this because kicking them out would damage the platforms’ brand more than the missed profits would bring in.

If you bought the subscription within the app, then that sounds like an unimplemented feature or a bug. You should ask support in that case.

This is the case. If you buy it via Google Play, you can edit or end your subscription via Google Play. If you did not, you need to use the desktop app to manage your subscription.
