      Manifest v3 is lighter on browser resources thanks to placing arbitrary limits on what developers can do with their extensions.

      You know, because ad blockers are just so slow, and because computers are getting less powerful over time and not more powerful. It’s obviously the only solution to this issue.

        May have been useful, say 15 years ago. Even then machines were plenty powerful.

      No, yes, It depends- for my simple use case of redirecting embeds and links, it is probably faster by using declarativenetapi instead of heavier webrequestblocking api
