I’m looking to replace my aged and cracked Nexus 10 tablet. I only need it for watching YouTube, and web browsing. I was looking at used tablets on Swappa.com and there are so many! Do you own one that you really like?

Features:

  • 10" or larger
  • USB-C charging
  • Around $100 used (or new, if its not junk at that price)
  • Stock Android or flashable
  • WiFi is enough; don’t care about carriers
  • 16:10 aspect ratio preferred
  • HD streaming of non-YouTube services. (I think this requires Widevine Level 1)

I only want to spend around $100, used. It does not need to be good for gaming or anything, and I want a vanilla Android experience. If it’s unlocked and I can flash a close-to-stock ROM on it, I’m cool with that, but it needs to have been a popular enough tablet for ROM maintainers to support it. I only need WiFi on it.

I’m thinking there must be some popular ones that everyone liked from a couple years ago that I could find pretty cheap. I don’t even know what brands are considered good.

Any recommendations on what to look for?
