Being okay with subscriptions is perhaps an unpopular idea on this sub, but I’m okay with that.
To me, it comes down to what your use-case is.
If all I want is to be entertained, then a subscription full of stuff is fine. I don’t care if it changes or goes away, I’ll just watch something else.
But if it’s my favourite show ever, then I need a way to have that permanently, so there’s no risk I lose access.
Same with games. Game Pass etc are fine if you just want a steady stream of new stuff. Not fine if you need to truly own that game forever.
I have zero problem with subscriptions. I only have a problem when subscription is the ONLY way.
