What I don’t get is it’s supposed to be a funny comedy. ( this is what the makers say in the dvd commentaries ) True it has some funny moments.
But to me I see the world in the movie as absurd not funny. There’s a lot of events in the movie that are extreme and barely believable but since it’s a movie and we are supposed to suspend disbelief anyway I just shrug them off.

Seen it myself awhile ago but I didn’t think it was was funny when I watched it.
It’s meant to be funny on rewatch when you realise the twist.
I like the movie but it’s gotta be one of the most overrated movies ever

Having said that… Brad Pitt can read the Uzbekistan dictionary for 10 hours and I’ll pay attention.
