    Just wanted to share a story. I work at a print shop where we make stuff for retail stores or conventions etc. One of our biggest clients tells us last month that he wanted to show thanks for all the hard work last year. And what does he do? He gets us a few Costco pizzas! At that point don’t even do anything. That felt so insulting. Plus he didn’t even get enough for everyone. What a dick

      That’s a client, not your employer, they already pay for the service you provide and in their case the company has control over how much they charge for it.

      What we’re talking about is your boss taking part of the money that client pays and buying pizza for the staff instead of giving them proper wage.
