So I watched the Kitchen (latest Netflix movie that everyone is raving about). Honestly I didn’t think it was all that and it was really slow at times. I actually fast forwarded on occasion thinking for fucks sake get to the point.

I’m really bummed I missed that match. I thought it was on tonight.

Apparently after that title win Rohan Bopanna will be ranked No. 1 I. Doubles and Matty at no. 2

Happy for them and Matty is a nice guy as well.

I just had a realisation. This easel may be intended mostly for painting, where you are holding a brush in a ‘writing’ position, daubing directly in small movements with your horizontal hand targeted at small areas, which wouldn’t be limited by that ledge the way vertically held charcoal pencils or sweeping pencil arcs would be.

Also more than that - that ledge/rest looks designed to hold the thickness of a canvas. The edges of which would be flush with each other or less excess would be protruding, and so you would not catch your hand on it (or as much).

Boom. I knew I was missing something obvious.

I had such big plans for today. Unfortunately my leg workout from the day before has left me unable to walk.

Ah well, music and video games it is then 🥳

    Ah :(

    Cat poo talk, blood

Melbcat did a sus black poo which makes me wonder if the metacam/meloxicam has caused gut bleeding again. Emergency vet has said as long as she’s acting ok I can monitor and call the normal vet on Monday. I’ve fired off an email to the normal vet with pics.

Fingers crossed! There was a more normal one right behind it so I’m hoping it’s nothing serious or I’m just imagining issues. But better to address it

Better to be safe than sorry.

More often than not it’s not your imagination but just self doubt getting in the way.

          You’re probably spot on.

Looks like one half of it is dying. Have a look at the base, maybe it was stepped on and a main branch has broken or split. If so, cut back all the yellow bits, they wont recover if the branch is broken. Give it a good water and a bit of fertiliser and it should bounce back.

Might be. Might also be too dry in parts. I would cut it back severely, aerate the soil around the plant (fork lift method) and apply a slow release fertilizer around the drip zone. Rosemary likes a well drained soil, but does need water and feeding for strong growth. Also, is it in full sun? Rosemary can get sunburned if the sun is too intense. Keeping it bushy rather than letting it go leggy helps a lot to prevent sunburn. Melbourne’s rainfall is usually enough to keep an established plant going, but a young plant may need a good soak after a few very hot dry days. I see you’ve got the mulch sorted, which is good. The reason for the extra fertilizer is to correct any imbalance caused by the mulch decaying and absorbing nutrients that can rob the plant underneath of its nutrition. Pine bark mulch is notorious for this - you usually have to add at least a lime sprinkle under pine bark mulch when it’s first laid down. Slow release is better though.

I should have stayed a night or two in hospital but I didn’t wanna. 😔

Now I swear doc thought I was faking and wouldn’t give me a script for anything stronger than nurofen.

I have terrible pain but limited loss in joint and muscle mobility and strength

this is what happens when you’re a fitter than most people your age ( which is pathetic considering I’m unfit ) and diligently do sciatica exercises all the time
