Sucks man. He and Arnie will always be my favorite action stars.
Every time I catch 5th Element scrolling through the channels, I put it on. It’s tied with Die Hard at the top of my list.

Same, when u had cable at least. I had gotten trolled by The Fifth Estate, a Canadian investigative news series, so many times while surfing thinking it was Fifth Element.

You’d think I would’ve learned after the 13th time that CBC would never air Fifth Element, but I like to be optimistic.

Die Hard, of course. It’s a Christmas movie!

Die Hard with a Vengeance is one of my favorite ones too.

Jeremy Irons plays such a good villain.

He’s a good actor and a great leading man. He doesn’t have the most range but when you need his tough-but-not-too-tough-sarcastic-everyman-who-can-take-a-punch.

Hudson Hawk is one of my favorite movies ever made.

postscript: I just realized he’s actually credited as a co-writer of Hudson Hawk!

I watched Hudson Hawk for the first time a couple years ago and it’s one of the most fun, insane, over the top weird movies I’ve ever seen. Even stranger knowing that Bruce Willis had wanted to do this cat burglar character for years prior.

I don’t even know what comes close as far as times I’ve said “What the fuck?” while watching a movie. It’s great.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

The Willis family publicly revealed in 2022 that the 68-year-old Pulp Fiction star was diagnosed with aphasia and was retiring from acting.

Since then, Heming Willis has served as the actor’s caregiver during his struggle with the devastating disease, which is known to put an incredible emotional strain on the families of those afflicted.

The 45-year-old former model and Make Time Wellness founder posted an Instagram video Monday that she described as “a care partner PSA.” Heming Willis explained why she had previously asked people who are similarly taking care of a loved one with dementia to send her photos of “something beautiful.”

In February, the family gave an update that Willis’ condition had progressed into frontotemporal dementia.

“While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” read a statement released by Willis’ family.

As Bruce’s condition advances, we hope that any media attention can be focused on shining a light on this disease that needs far more awareness and research.”

With repeated head injuries being more of a focus over the last few years.

I remember someone suggested a potential connection between this and Bruce’s head knocks while filming. Was any link found?

bruce willis has been a staple my whole life. Moonlighting was freaking amazing, and really, only because of bruce.

i kinda wish he died of an aneurysm or something, because this is really the worst outcome. right here. hes living it.

i have tried to get it in my head that the bruce i grew up with already died last year… but its hard seeing updates like this.
