I don’t know what’s funnier, liberals using homophobia or anticommunism to deride Trump and Putin instead of making any kind of meaningful statement.

The fact you think that there’s some sort of homophobic intent with this is such a self-report.

You see this image and you think that the joke is they’re gay, because them being gay would be an insult in and of itself. Which is like grade school levels of shallow interpretation, but more importantly, ignores all the context.

Here’s a statement: Trump is a traitor. He doesn’t care about you or the American people. He also shits his pants.

A lot of people suffer from incontinence. He has many other qualities you could make fun of, but leave his medical condition alone.

Remember when that douche weasel was making fun of the mentally challenged and all his supporters were laughing? Pick things he has control over, like being a fucking traitor.

What is homophobic about it? Does seeing 2 men together make you uncomfortable? Why do you assume the issue is that they are same sex?

I’m perfectly fine with it. What’s your deal?

OK so this is posted to “political humor”. In addition to both men, there’s a bouquet of red roses. This is a cultural symbol for a romantic relationship. The men are nuzzling each other in bed and looking content. The implied joke is that these two men are in a romantic relationship. My problem is that being gay is not a punchline, calling someone gay as a joke is homophobic behavior. The meme is using implication of a homosexual relationship in a derogatory manner.

Disparaging Trump is fine, that’s natural. That doesn’t mean that every anti-Trump meme is good. This one is shit.

no, the joke is a romantic relationship as an exaggeration of them being so close IRL.

the fact that they are homophobe and would hate this pic, but we wouldn’t even mind if they were gay, just makes it extra funny.

I would recouch the problem as this— does wielding accusations or innuendoes of gayness against the homophobic serve to, in a small way, perpetuate their homophobia?
