On the contraire. I have been stalk and assault by dykes before. It really took a tool on me over the years, like, wasn’t I suposed to trust women? Weren’t women only spaces supposed to be safe? Dykes have this non-chalant attitude to rape. They act as if they’re helping you find yourself, as if because she did it it as a lesser crime than when a man does it.

My sister also went through a lot of similar stuff, it makes me so angry when she talks about it she starts with “I’m sorry, I’m not trying to offend anyone from the lgbtq+ community…” . This enrages me so much. I’m not gonna just let myself be bullied, even less when my physical integrity is at stake. I’m not trying to tell other people how to live their lives, but if you encrouch on me I will push back.

These shows do not only make me feel sick to my stomach, I remember feeling like I was going to puke after that Korra cartoon, but also normalize this bs of “straight women do not exist”, “everything is permited to me because I’m not part od the patriarchy”, or “we should try to turn every women only space into a militant group and a hookup spot”.

And before you come up with some bs about men. Did I ever had problems with creepy men ? Yes, but in these times it was actually easy to get away and there was plenty of people around me to protect me. Also, you very much choose which men you bring into your life. I never had a man betray my trust in this level.

Go to therapy. Get help. And stop using the phrase “dyke”. I’m not sure if English isn’t your first language or what, but it’s offensive as fuck, and I’m sure a better conversation could have been had if you hadn’t started off with that aggressive pejorative.
