The message comes from the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Limited Edition soundtrack

The soundtrack comes with a booklet that includes the message from Takahashi, but unlike the Trinity Box, the notes here are only included in Japanese.

“Rather than playing on defense, going on the offense; change rather than maintain. This is a stance that I have continued to hold for thirty years. If there is another “Xenoblade,” it will likely be something vastly different from what came before. In style and in music, I would like to make my next goal something that will betray everyone’s expectations, in a good way.”

As a huge fan of Xenoblade games, that really excite me. As much as I love these games, I want them to try something new. They were also working on that medieval fantasy game, I wonder what happened to that.

I think an actual action rpg would be better at this point. XBC3 got really stale for me by chapter 5 when every tough enemy just turned into waiting to use that team attack, which killed pretty much everything. I initially liked the story and some of the side quests, but I quit early Ch 6 when the story was devolving into some weird KH levels of convoluted BS, and I saw that despite finishing a BUNCH of side quests by that point, there were a billion more waiting for me.

Well, XC3 is one of my favourite game, and I loved every minute of it. But I agree that enemy encounters did take some time. Also, as I said above, I want them to try something new. It would be nice to see their take on action RPG.

Oh wow are there mods like that now? Only ones they had back when I played were to make the framerate and graphics look better, pretty much.
