Considering how often this usually backfires with the AI recommending suicide… Not actually about AI counselors but coaching a human one.

Article says it’s analysis of call center data and for counselor training, not like literal chatbot-on-the-line-with-a-leaper kinda shit. Climbing down, now.

Ah damn, and of course this is the one article I lept to conclusions on.

Now that I read more into it, it’s actually a bit more interesting than that too. A concept of an AI real-time coaching the counselor by analyzing the caller’s behavior.

Looked into the congresscritter in question; he’s no dummy and likely wouldn’t be caught in any technological faux pas’.

He is actually my critter, which is why I acted so viscerally. I’m usually more on top of these things which is why I’m a little bit embarrassed!

Ah. 10-4. It happens and AI/LLMs are a hot button issue ATM. My job may last a couple more years, not expecting five and certainly not decades.

And yeah, while the historical data is literally dead in most cases, AI analysis live could be game changing; but would that look like a whisperer in the ear kinda thing?
