Stig Asmussen, the game director of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, as well as God of War 3, has announced the new studio he formed after leaving Respawn and EA last year. It’s called Giant Skull, and his new team aims to create a new, premium, AAA narrative-driven single-player third-person action-adventure game.
Do people still want single player games? Since the pandemic I’ve only played multiplayer and completely disregarded the single player.

Horizon, God of War, Dave the Diver, Dredge, Frostpunk, and Cyberpunk 2077 would also like to chime in.
Just because you only play multiplayer doesn’t mean vast accounts of people don’t play single player games.
I’ve had a flare up of ulcerative colitis for a month, I’ve been constantly going back and forth to the shitter to shit blood. Yes I still want single player games because my health is too unpredictable to invest in anything mp. And before I get told to see a Dr, I have the whole time I’ve been having a flare up because that’s what happens with chronic illnesses.
I only really play singleplayer. I go at my own pace and experience it as I want to.
