So, legitimately, I knew a guy at a place I used to work who prided himself on his PlayStation trophies, because he had hundreds of platinums. Hundreds. Like, legitimately, every game he played, he platinumed, and relatively quickly, too.
But I know some of them weren’t “legit”. Guaranteed he was using a save editor, at the very least.
I just couldn’t fathom why. Dude was entering his late 20s and I felt so bad for his future self that will look back on all the time spent on this and be angry at himself.
Hope he was streaming or something, at least.
Yeah I felt the same way about the guys who played soccer in my high school class. Fuckers don’t know the trophies won’t mean anything when they’re dead!
I feel sorry for you if that is all a school sport is to you
It is almost as if that was my point.
Everything won’t mean anything when we’re dead.
Seems dumb to gate keep who has a valid hobby.
Not everything needs to be in service of achieving conventional definitions of success.
Can’t tell if you got it, but yeah, that was my point.
Why would streaming make it anymore valid? If he enjoyed it, who cares if it was a waste of time?
Yes, yes, but what about Binding of Isaac?
Only managed to lightly restrain him.
Where’s my free girlfriend?
Damn, how do you pick up all the ass people drop in front of you with that?
He cheves man, he cheves.
I managed to get a degree while dangerously addicted to it for 5 years does that count?
Depends on the degree, I suppose.
Engineering lol
