It’s because he’s a really good salesman. That’s pretty much it. He knows how to pitch an idea that sounds amazing and convince people that it will work. The only problem is that unless you have a solid track record of your ideas/pitches actually working, the veil begins to fall and people begin to see you for the con man that you are.
