Well… To be honest I am cheating a little bit. Fixies are cool, but in a city like Rotterdam it’s also a bit suicidal.
I have used the rear hub from SRAM which is often used in foldable bikes. That way I can coast, it has two gears (shift automatically due to centrifugal force) and it has a back-paddle brake.
That’s also why I don’t have to use straps/click ons.

Ah hi to NL! According to german law, you would have to have a front brake too. ;)
That’s why I always carry an extra stick :)
