We played with toy guns when I was 6-8. I was pretty done with that by the time I was 10. I can’t really picture walking down the street with a plastic auto when I was 16 and people think “oh look, it’s just a child with a toy gun! How cute and harmless!”
Anyway, if you want to criticize the cop, the main issue is the victim had already thrown the gun down, had his hands up, and was 15 feet away from it. But apparently you want to give the cop the death penalty for shooting someone in the hand, which I think most people wouldn’t support.

Also it’s sort of (not really) funny how seriously Lemmings take everything. Sort of worse than reddit at this point. My statement was meant to be sort of dry, not that I thought you seriously were advocating for literal execution.
