I am not affiliated with this person. I have spoken to her in passing and she is a great gal in a tough spot.
If I could donate I would, but I am hoping maybe someone more well off might be able to help. I don't think she's even expecting to get any donations, but maybe a surprise would turn things around for her.

I’d like to give people the benefit of doubt, it may be because several trans people have posted for aid in trans related lemmy communities recently and have been helped out. But even if it’s not a scam it’s a good reminder to always be vigilant about who you send money to if you don’t personally know them.
I swear I’m just a lurker that wants to help her out.
