Just so people don’t get super excited it’ll look a little brighter than the north star. This nova will be bright(ish) but unless you’re familiar with the night sky you probably won’t notice anything different.
I’ll be sure to check it out. It’s not every day you get to see a star blow up.
Right and also this is once I’m 80 years event so it’s worth it
Quoth Wikipedia, “Even when at peak magnitude of 2.5, this recurrent nova is dimmer than about 120 stars in the night sky.”
The fact that “recurrent nova” is a thing caught me by surprise though, Reminded me of the on/off star from A Deepness in The Sky
If you don’t have the proper equipment to fully see this star explode you can instead just follow the P Diddy allegations and charges.
