In a statement, Premier David Eby insisted that his government is “caring and compassionate for those struggling with addiction,” but that patience for disorder only goes so far.

Drug use is a cultural problem, including for alcoholism. Look at the countries that produce the street drugs, they have no struggles with addiction in their broader society.

Rampant open drug use and getting high in public in Canada is an indictment of how screw up Canadians are because they really don’t care as much for others as Canadians like to think they do. They want to feel good like the con of a lie about “I’m a good perso” but refuse to make a personal commitment to build personal relationships with a variety of people so others don’t live their life so alone and express a human connection.

It’s not only about problems, people also need to share joyous moments with others, as well as with those who will help carry their burdens.

I’m going to try to paraphrase your comment because it is very difficult to read. Let me know if I screw up.

Drug use, including alcohol, is a cultural problem. Countries which produce street drugs for the black market have no addicts within their borders.

The fact that addicts brazenly get high in public makes all Canadians look bad. Canadians only pretend to care for one another. Canadians want to think they are good people, while not helping build the social connections and societal guardrails that could lead themselves and others out of addiction.

People should share not only their problems, but their successes, and people should be willing to help carry the burden of others, as well as expect their society to help them in their time of need.

      Hope I was close!

Wrong. You failed. Why are you posting an interpretation of what I said with your own spin on it?

Because the writing of the original comment is nearly incomprehensible.

I don’t mean this outright as a critique, many people comment in a second or third language so I don’t want to mock, only to help.

Sorry I missed the mark on the sic paraphrasing. I did try my best to represent only what I read.
