Because you learn in life to make sure others are happy. The invention of a dildo was due to housewives in the 20’s suffering from hysteria. If I get mine I need to make sure she gets hers.

Hmmm… Mostly a full bottle of water, rest of the space is for my phone and glasses when I go to sleep, in the morning the same space can be reused for a mug full of coffee.

Inside? An old silk pillowcase that I don’t use anymore, an old birthday card from my mom, and most of my warm pants.
On top? Phone charger, phone, headphones, glasses
Phone, alarm clock (because some mornings, at least one of those will fail). Water bottle on the floor so there’s less fuss when I tip it over.
Piles of books have taken over most other surfaces.
