Biden, in an interview with CNN, said the U.S. was still committed to Israel’s defense and would supply Iron Dome rocket interceptors and other defensive arms, but that if Israel goes into Rafah, “we’re not going to supply the weapons and artillery shells used.”
Can we get the interviewer some legal training because I really want to know whether:
I reject the narrative that “if they go into Rafah we won’t have supplied them with weapons.”
That does read funny. He said that US will only be providing defensive munitions for the Iron Dome.
He also stated that the weapons that the US has supplied have been used against their agreement. That creates the situation for the US to stand behind charges for violating international law, as well as justification for walking back previously committed munitions.
