This is direct quote from IRNN’s 3/4th (the scribblings bottom of the screen).

I will keep this thread updated if IRNN says anything else.

If you can read Persian, you can access a direct feed to IRNN via Telewebiun: https://telewebion.com/live/irinn

Some semantics:

  • They did not say it ‘fell’ or ‘impacted’ or most importantly, ‘crashed’. They said ‘landed harshly’.
  • By ‘said’, I mean they ‘wrote’. The only source is IRNN 3/4th.
  • They use the word ‘saaneheh’ to refer to the accident, this is an Arabic loanword that is generally used to refer to such accident. Think, 9/11 is a ‘saaneheh’. Warning: This is an Arabic loanword, in Persian, Arabic loanwords are ‘false friends’, they don’t mean what they mean in Arabic.

Update from the 3/4th:

  • Rain, fog, etc is making the rescue effort extremely difficult.
  • The Red Crescent has sent 40 teams.
  • FalafelBenSamusa@lemmy.worldOP

Theory: Jehovah did this. Iranians should go back to worshipping the Indo-European skyfather. The Arabic/Jewish ‘The God’ aka Jehovah/YHWH is just bad news. Indo-European Skyfather is a very kind deity.

(Joking, of course, we all know the only deity who exists in reality is Beelzebab).
