We don’t develop what is advantageous, a thing occurs that turns out advantageous and eventually becomes the norm or near-norm. So unfortunately it won’t happen to an animal unless one just happens to be born with it and it survives long enough to reproduce and its offspring also keep reproducing. It’s pretty safe to assume some humans along the way developed something useful but ah crap they cut their foot and died by infection a week later so oh well lol
