Bit weird, and probably more geared toward older games for obvious reasons, but is anyone aware of sites that have a lot of game guides available for download? Assuming would mostly be ebooks because pulling a wiki is impractical and everyone (self included) has “make a script to grab cyricz’s guides from gamefaqs” on the todo list.

Part of me would love to be able to quickly check if a quest that seems “a bit off” in a CRPG has a secret path. But mostly I am thinking stuff like looking up what the boss counters are in a megaman or even just the 1.0 weapon scaling for a Souls weapon. At home that is as simple as shift+tab and then gritting my teeth through a god damned fandom wiki. But on a plane that is less of an option.

Thinking archive.org will probably be good for grabbing prima guides en masse for the <= PS2 era. But not sure if there is anything better or broader.
