“Lying” is a poor choice of words in a model that can also take natural language text. It is not a common phrase for captioning. So it is likely being interpreted as natural language.

Grass has many meanings as well:

(countable, British, slang) An informer, police informer; one who betrays a group (of criminals, etc) to the authorities. synonym ▲quotations ▼ Synonyms: see Thesaurus:informant What just happened must remain secret. Don’t be a grass.

    Noun

    • grass (countable and uncountable, plural grasses)
    1. (countable, uncountable) Any plant of the family Poaceae, characterized by leaves that arise from nodes in the stem and leaf bases that wrap around the stem, especially those grown as ground cover rather than for grain. synonym ▲quotations ▼ Synonyms: see Thesaurus:grass
    2. (countable) Various plants not in family Poaceae that resemble grasses.
    3. (uncountable) A lawn.
    4. (uncountable, slang) Marijuana. synonym ▲quotations ▼ Synonyms: see Thesaurus:marijuana
    5. (countable, British, slang) An informer, police informer; one who betrays a group (of criminals, etc) to the authorities. synonym ▲quotations ▼ Synonyms: see Thesaurus:informant What just happened must remain secret. Don’t be a grass.
    6. (uncountable, physics) Sharp, closely spaced discontinuities in the trace of a cathode-ray tube, produced by random interference.
    7. (uncountable, slang) Noise on an A-scope or similar type of radar display. quotations ▼
    8. The season of fresh grass; spring or summer. synonyms ▲ Synonyms: breakup, spring, springtime
    9. (obsolete, figurative) That which is transitory. synonym ▲quotations ▼ Synonym: ephemera
    10. (countable, folk etymology) Asparagus; “sparrowgrass”. quotations ▼
    11. (mining) The surface of a mine.

What is obvious to a human is a complex thought process involving external context and culture. These are part of human ‘alignment’ but must be trained in a model. Such an alignment as a default in a general use global base model would contaminate things like other languages and cultures that try and use the tool.

        …but I don’t wanna use the proprietary thingy…

I’m busy procrastinating from learning control nets, t2i, and IP-Adaptors.

I have no idea how they’d ever be able to enforce it. Well good luck to them, I appreciate all the laughs for free. Although I was mostly referring to the fact that you don’t need to agree to a license, pay money, or create an account, which is still the case.
