Tell me you have a Pentastar without telling me you have a Pentastar.
If that’s the engine we’re talking about, the oil cooler and filter housing assembly is made of plastic, and it’s under the intake manifold. It cracks and leaks. I imagine under stress, it leaks badly. Aftermarket replacements (Dorman) are all aluminum and do not have this issue.
