Last week I need to call my doctor, I need a medical exam, I need it because I’m doing my driving license and they ask that shit, but she was in holidays… Her secretary responded, I asked her if I could reserve the appointment, she told me NO. The doctor must come back first and then I could save an appointment…

Today, apparently the doctor came back, I called again the same only phone number available at the door of the studio. The doctor answered and told me to not call her? For appointments I need to call the secretary’s numbers… Where the fuck were those phone numbers? She gave me the number of the secretary but for whatever reason the number didn’t save on my phone. I called again but she refused to answer the phone. The bitch isn’t even “googable” there’s no email or secretary numbers anywhere.

The worst part is that in less than 2 weeks both, the driving school and their doctor that needs that medical exam go into holidays. There’s no fucking way I’m getting that exam before the end of this week… At this point I’ll get my license by Xmas.

And then people ask me why avoid being social… Humanity is fucking awful.

    Blame the large healthcare companies who cause these issues, not the individual people. The doctor and secretary are probably just as frustrated as you are, they’re not allowed to do things in the way that would make most sense or seem helpful to you. That doesn’t make anybody a bitch. It’s structural and likely out of their hands. The medical establishment is not the place to go looking for pleasant human interactions.

        This may not be the case. Doctors don’t always have a say in how their group manages its website or whose job it is to do that, it usually is not the doctor themselves. But mainly - it will not benefit you in any way, ever, to get angry and think of women as bitches when something like this happens. Things like this will always happen in life because life is inherently stressful. So that just sets you up to feel angrier and worse over time, and in a sexist way. I like to listen to music, make some tea, or watch something horror-y to decompress when something shitty happens. That way the feeling doesn’t get directed at anyone, and it doesn’t grow. This person might have been a little rude on the phone but ultimately she’s not the cause of the phone problems at her office or the deadlines you are dealing with, or anything else going on on your life. Sometimes upsetting stuff is no one’s fault.

          Fuck that, I’m blaming her not only for not updating her info but got being a bitch on the phone. I despise talking to the phone yet when I’m FORCED to do it I’m respectful. This bitch, today, responded, give me another phone number in 15 seconds and closed the call. What kind of professional does that? She didn’t even said bye or anything. She’s earned it. I’m calling HER a bitch all I want from now on. Fuck her for making me waste my time and delaying my stuff literally months.
